I love spring! Everything is new and bright. I get so excited to see my little daffodils trying to bloom even if the wind is blowing like a tornado.
I'm also excited about getting things back in order, especially my house, yard, kids, blog, and exercise routine. Things have been pretty hectic around here since I started working last summer. Rodger started telling me in November, "you know this is temporary, right?" I used to be able to just pick up and go with him anytime he had free time. We would often go to lunch or the gym, or even on short vacations. Unfortunately, working around two business schedules is much harder. Fortunately, Monday is my last day of work. I'm still a little sad to be leaving, but glad to be back home. The best part about the whole experience is that I now know that I don't want to be a nurse, and I will be finishing my degree in physical therapy assisting. I was trying to go back to school for spring semester, but between the family, the calling, and the job, I just couldn't pull it all together.
Rodger's very excited, I know he much prefers me to be at home. I think he gets some weird manly pleasure from being the bread-winner. The boys are excited. They get up every morning and ask if I have to go to work, it doesn't matter to them if they are going to be gone to school all day. They are just more content if I am home for some reason.
I know it sounds like I am trying to talk myself into being happy about the change, but I really am. I just have an overdeveloped sense of guilt and I am already missing the clinic. I'm going to miss the patients and my boss. I have learned SO much, and have formed so many good friendships. Thank you all for a great experience!
Oh, and honey,
I'm HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
